What type of Music do you enjoy best?

I honestly love all kinds of music. My sound is R&B, but I am influenced by all genres - and that can be heard in my music. A few of my faves are Brandy, Jazmine Sullivan, Beyonce and JoJo...The list goes on.  I really enjoy their voices and the way they are able to use them.  They're incredibly talented.

Who would you say has most inspired you?

My parents are my biggest inspiration.  They're two extremely strong individuals who always seem to push forward no matter what the obstacle in front of them.  They're not the kind of people to quit.  Their faith in me really keeps me going.

How would you describe yourself to someone who doesn't know you? 

I'm a cornball!  Loud, funny, and emotional.  I love to laugh and shop. I'm always singing. ALWAYS!

What is the most fun thing you have ever done?

Last year, around this time actually, I performed for the Greene Space for the second time - as a participant in the Battle of the Boroughs Competition.  I went to soundcheck, and my father got a hotel room near the studio so I didn't have to go all the way back to the Bronx to get ready.  A friend of mine, who has an online magazine, interviewed me as I got ready and then I went and did my set.  I remember thinking... "if only it could be like this every day"!
