How did you get interested in Music?

I was born into a musical family, so I've loved music since the womb...I was already in studios, church choirs, etc.

Why did you pick your first song choice? 

I chose to sing Marvin Gaye's "What's Going On", because it's been one of my favorite songs since I was a kid.  But, I believe this song speaks to the times and culture of today.  I want people to think about where we are today.

What makes you different from other contestants?

I'm obsessed with the stories and the message behind the music.  I don't care about fame or perfection....I care about touching the hearts of those who need to laugh or smile or feel hope.

What would you like to be doing five years from now? 

I would love to be traveling the world, doing clinics with high school and college-age students about their career goals...I would like to be running my own school / program with a focus on Music & Arts Ed...
